International Yoga Day

International Day of Yoga

Yoga is the bridge between man and divinity. Yoga invokes in man a strong sense of values, and his growth becomes rational and wholesome. Yoga brings about an awareness of human dignity and man starts feeling reluctant to scramble unceremoniously for material gains. Man’s life becomes holy with the touches of Yoga. Yoga is the best exercise which can enlighten your mind, soul and strengthen your body. There are different kinds of yoga which you may find better for your starter as well as furtherance. Practicing of yoga can easily be done at your home or in your nearby yoga center.

A Hindu sacred and austere art, a part of which, including breath control, simple cogitation and the espousal of specific bodily poses, is widely practiced for health and relaxation. The term yoga is derived from the literal meaning of “harnessing together”, a stretch of horses or oxen, but came to be applied to the “hitching” of mind and body.

Yoga is not an exercise. This is an art of philosophy. The Yogi says that nothing is a miracle and that any man can achieve what he sets out to do. Miracle means some feat that defies natural laws, such for instance, as levitation. Now read some words from SRI AURUBINDO: The aim of Yoga is not only to rise out of the ordinary important world-consciousness into the divine consciousness, but to bring the supra mental power of that divine consciousness down into the ignorance of mind, life and body, to transfer them, to manifest them, to manifest the Divine here and create a divine life in matter. If you can accept the ideal wholeheartedly, face all the difficulties, leave the past and its ties behind you are ready to give up everything and risk everything for this divine possibility, then only can you hope to discover by experience the truth behind it.

Yoga is more than a mere combination of exercises and breathing. These are merely means towards an end. Nor does it involve, as some imagine, sitting for endless hours contemplating one’s navel, or the infinite. Yoga is a complete philosophy of life. It embraces the physical, mental and spiritual. It is non-sectarian and the religious as well as the non religious as well as the non-religious can study Yoga with benefit and without offense to their beliefs or disbelieves. Hatha Yoga a part of Yoga. It helps one to be physically fit, and it can be practiced to the exclusion of all other forms of Yoga. To enter the inner world of Yoga it is essential first to practice Hatha Yoga, for unless the body is fit, it is impossible to forget it and concentrate upon the mind. Learn how to do Yoga, benefits of Yoga, Yoga for fitness, Yoga therapy, Surya namaskar, breathing techniques, Yoga for different health conditions.

Yoga Decrease stresses by Prompt the Relaxation Response

Hatha Yoga includes such practices as daily hygiene, internal as well as external. A short of hygiene which people know nothing about. It includes also Yogasanas (Yoga postures), which ensure a proper supply of blood to all parts of the body, strengthen the spine and internal organs and assist the circulation. Then there are the “mudras” a very advanced system of physical exercises that give one control of the abdominal and other important groups of muscles essential to perfect health. Pranayama or breath control increases fitness and immunity from changes of temperature and disease. Pratyahara is that branch of Hatha Yoga that helps to develop patience. Dharana develops powers of concentration. Dhyana are practices which assist one to meditate.

There would be a number of yoga classes which you can look up in your area and you must go for those which suit you the best. If you can find a class that is rejoicing, it will help to keep you motivated and you will work out more often. Take your classes in your locality which is close to home. Some people may go for private exercise at their home. Buy a DVD and take your classes this way, or you may find a resource online and you can practice with some classes this way also. Sadly, there are a large number of individuals with direct access to exhibition halls that have never at any point gone to one. There are numerous conceivable explanations behind this–perhaps they think simply taking a gander at old things would be exhausting, or maybe they are unconscious exactly how distinctive the world was in the past and see no motivation to take interest. Whatever the purpose behind not exploiting the fantastic measure of unmistakable learning exhibition halls offer and paying little mind to age, Museum Day is the time to put resources into training in its most captivating structure.

The History of Museum Day

Consistently since 1977, the greater part of the historical centers on the planet are welcome to take an interest in this day to advance the part of exhibition halls around on the planet, by arranging pleasant and free exercises around the year’s subject. Instructions to Celebrate Museum Day

There is no better approach to observe Museum Day than to bring an outing down to a close-by exhibition hall, either alone, with companions, or even your kids on the off chance that you feel they are mature enough to admire the spot. Contingent upon where you live, the historical centers you may be nearest to could be ones joined with anything from cultivating to form, from stargazing to prehistoric studies, from craftsmanship to common history. On the off chance that it just so happens the galleries in your quick territory are not ones that would intrigue you, perhaps you could consider a day excursion to a close-by city to visit a historical centre more qualified to your hobbies? Carpooling with a companion or two will make the excursion less expensive and potentially all the more intriguing.

Something else to consider is the way well you endure swarms. Exhibition hall Day is an inexorably mainstream overall occasion, so it is most likely that a large number of the bigger and better known historical centres will be really swarmed on this day, particularly since numerous galleries don’t charge an extra charge then. In the event that you don’t have a craving for remaining in long lines to see each and every thing or needing to move your way through hordes of individuals, giving careful consideration to not going on anybody’s shoes than the articles on presentation, you may need to visit the exhibition hall of your decision a couple of days before or after Museum Day. On weekdays, historical centers are frequently tranquil spots where one can come to study our progenitors’ ways of life and mull over what persuaded them to carry on and grow as they did. Nonetheless you choose to observe Museum day, don’t let this chance to get some answers concerning the historical backdrop of mankind go to waste.

Pondicherry – A Travelers Place

Pondicherry (Pondichéry in french) is a small French Town, a refinement separated from Boomtown India. By 1850, the British had secured their grip on India. They allowed the retreating French to remain in four small pockets of South Indian territory. Pondicherry was the capital for the other parts. Pondicherry gained its full independence in 1963. The French laid out the streets in a formal grid pattern for the city of Pondicherry during their period.

Most of the people use bicycles inside the city of Pondicherry, or they strolled along the tree-lined boulevards. It was as if an elegant French country town had been shifted to the Bay of Bengal.

In 2006, Pondicherry became Puducherry – having reverted to its age old Tamil name. It was no longer irregular. This was indeed French colony of India. Pondy – as its long-term residents like to call it – is expanding rapidly. As in so many Indian cities, the economic break through has had its way, growing the population of Pondicherry of over 20 per cent in the past two censuses.

A neary town Auroville is an experimental city, located a few miles out of Pondicherry, that grew out of the Sri Aurobindo ashram that dominates social and educational life in Pondi. Its “citizens” opt out of conventional society but remain very actively involved in its problems and challenges.
